KARPACZ - a tourist and recreation town in the Karkonosze Mountains, located at the foot of Śnieżka, on the Łomnica River; The city limits also include the highest part of the Karkonosze Mountains with Śnieżka (1,602 m above sea level).
Many tourist trails start from Karpacz, including the most frequented route to Śnieżka. At the top of Śnieżka there is the baroque Chapel of St. Wawrzyńca, a shelter and a meteorological station.

To see all the attractions that Karpacz and its surroundings have to offer, it is best to come here for a week, and if we also want to visit the surrounding area, even for two weeks.
