Large and comfortable family cabin in Blefjell with excellent cross-country skiing facilities in the winter and exciting fishing and tour facilities during the summer period.

«Stallen» is a new and modern cabin that is built together with a 100 year old timber cabin. The cabin is located at Blefjell in the Flesberg community 35 km north of Kongsberg, which is only 1, 5 – 2 hours’ drive from Oslo and Larvik.

The cabin is 135 m2, has 5 bedrooms with 13 beds, living room, kitchen, bath, WC and loft area.  The cabin is equipped with TV, DVD, broadband, radio and Jacuzzi (with steam and massage). The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven and all the other necessary kitchen equipment.  A washing machine and drier is installed in the bathroom.  All the floors are tiled and have under-floor heating. Additional heating is provided by fireplaces in the living room and a fire oven in the kitchen/living area. Prior to your arrival the cabin will be heated, and if required, linen and towels are available for rent.

Outside the cabin there is a large terrace with a cooking grill and several sitting places.   Access to the cabin is possible by car, and 3 parking lots are available at the cabin

Surroundings

Blefjell is one of the finest mountain areas in south/east of Norway. Blefjell’s highest peak is “Bletoppen” which is 1 342 m high. It offers fantastic conditions in the winter, often with lots of snow and great skiing opportunities.  It is ideal for cross-country skiing activities, as it has several miles of well-prepared ski tracks both for classic and skating.

The summers at Blefjell are warm and sheltered, with opportunities for swimming, fishing, cycling, hiking and bicycle tours. Blefjell offers great unspoilt areas with wildlife and mountain ranges. There is even a local herd of reindeer in "Høg-Ble”.  In the mountain area you can go for a stroll, fish (lots of small lakes), hunt for berries or just enjoy the peace and quiet of the area.  In the local community Flesberg you have the river “Numedalslågen” where boats and canoes can be rented. A fishing license can also be obtained.

You also have the local community Flesberg which is approx. 13 km from the cabin. Here you will find a grocery store, gas stations, library and hotel. Kongsberg is the closest city, which is approx. 35 km from the cabin. Here you will find shopping centres, swimming and ski centres and different museums.
