Wonderful white and romantic stretches the mountain in the winter from the south of Salzburg: Skiing, Cross-country skiing, winter hiking, or touring - thanks to optimum altitude you will find the best snow conditions until late spring. The ski region of Katschberg to Obertauern has much to offer. Snowboarders and skiers have the "White Wave" to a total of 100 lifts and over 300 km of slopes.

Freestylers meet at Aineck: The ski area has a boarder park with Pro Jump, High Jump, slide and a halfpipe. Racer attracts the Fanningberg that has a constant boardercross course with camel humps and banked corners and free-riders meet at Grosseck Speiereck with its deep snow slopes, countless trails and backcountry descents.
