The Botany unfolds straight with all their strength, and in all its colors!
Observed particularly well this is along the Heilbronner family hiking trail between the Dachstein (2100 meters) and the Gjaidalm (1740 meters)! Heilbronner trail is continuously passable, a few patches of snow still remember the snowy last winter!

Around 7000 years of cultural history have shaped the region around the Dachstein in the Inner Salzkammergut around salt mining and Serviced.
Hallstatt form clinging to the rock with its ancient wooden houses, of Lake Hallstatt and the fertile pastures of the stone contrast to a bizarre and barren rocky desert on the seemingly endless karst plateau of the Dachstein massif with its glaciers.
5 days through a varied landscape along ancient paths and visiting 2 museums and an ice cave.

Almabbtrieb on Gjaid
Like every year, the Gjaid Alm hosting a social get-together with roast pork and cold beer. For the musical background with Ziach Gstanzl and ensure the long-established Obertrauner alpine farmers. Of course everyone is welcome, the cows on Sunday to accompany the valley.
