Hotel Stefanie Hotel Stefanie

The Hotel Stefanie is family-owned since 4 genrations. It was built in 1896 by Therese Witzman, the great-grandmother of the present owner.

The four-star hotel was named after the Belgian Princess Stephanie, the wife of the crown prince Rudolph. Crown Prince Rudolph of Austria-Hungary was the only son of Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth (Sissi) and thus archduke-heir to the throne of Austria-Hungary.

Empress Elisabeth already appreciated the charm of Bad Vöslau. Away from the courtly life and the hustle and bustle of her many journeys she found here peace and relaxation.

Over the years, she has changed a lot in the Hotel Stefanie: the rooms have been lovingly renovated, the magnificent garden has been revived and the already popular Cafe'-Bar became a meeting place for the guests and visitors.

One thing, despite the changes and modernization, is never lost - the charm of the hotel, the family atmosphere and the cordiality with which we take care of you.
