Building materials from the region: wood as a building material requires the least energy consumption of all building materials for production, transport and processing. Our house is built entirely of wood from the region Eisenwurzen / Gesäuse.
Wood creates a healthy atmosphere: it absorbs moisture from the air and releases it when it is too dry in the rooms.
Green Building with wood: You can integrate modern building services such as automatic air conditioning, solar panels, rainwater harvesting for toilets and much more in your wooden house!

We even chose a wooden house as a residence, after I, Johann Weiss Steiner, your host, many years have lived in western Austria in a wooden house.
The kitchen is made of ash, the interior walls in the living room made of spruce wood that has been impregnated with their own beeswax. This delicate fragrance appreciate many of our guests to be particularly relaxing.
For the isolation we have rock wool and cork used. The final outward form shingles.
Houses from the local natural material wood are particularly pleasant.
