The Bodenhütte is the ideal starting point for many summit cross hikes in the ski touring and hiking area Klenitzen-Goldberggruppe, (Stanitzkopf, Hochgrubenkopf, Sadnig, Mellenkopf, Klenitzkopf, Schwarzseekopf)
