THE BEAUTIFUL
We’ve been established since the summer of 1989 and are still enjoying the company of our guests, lots who have become friends and return for another happy holiday.
Here are some comments from our guests:
Dear Zoe and Peter,
Arrived home safely after a fantastic holiday. We all wish to thank you for help making Ali's 60th birthday so good. You were both great company and excellent hosts.
Thank you both once again. Regards Sue and Ali
Dear Zoe and Pete,
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Mondounet, thank you both for making us so welcome. It is a lovely place for a holiday and we had a very relaxing stay. The area is also very beautiful and we enjoyed visiting the local towns and villages, and driving through the peaceful countryside.
Although we are very much back in the swing of things back here now at least we have some lovely memories of our stay in the Lot and some good photographs of the area to accompany them.
Hope it won’t be too long before we can return.
Best wishes,
Caroline and Tony
You too can relax, explore and discover our little bit of paradise – you’ll have a wonderful time. The locals here have a really unique heritage and their traditional warm welcome will add to the enjoyment of your stay.
When you arrive we’ll be pleased to offer you a litre of our good Cahors wine and an aperitif to welcome you to Mondounet.
There's lots see and do, for all ages, including a lake with a beach, fishing, tennis, golf, canoeing, horse-riding, cycling, organised walks, wine tasting, prehistoric caves, chateaux, markets galore, music - blues, jazz, classical ........

POOLSIDE BARBECUE WITH ENTERTAINMENT
Our pool is now heated from Early Spring until the end of October and is fenced to comply with French regulations.
Mondounet is built in the beautiful Quercy stone (the colour of champagne) and overlooks two valleys in the heart of the Cahors wine region - vineyards just around the corner for wine-tasting, plus very good and inexpensive restaurants which we can recommend (we have tried most of them!).
On your first evening with us, or during your holiday, you may like to relax in your accommodation; we have a catering friend who will bring you a superb 3 course meal (menu available). OR we can book a table for you at a local auberge/restaurant, just let us know which you prefer.

This is a really beautiful region with lots to see and do - or you can lie back on a lounger beside the pool, leave stress behind and relax in a lovely setting for a wonderful holiday.

On the outskirts of Cahors, before you cross over the bridge to go up the main boulevard there are traffic lights and if you turn right here you can follow the road right up to the top of the hill to MONT ST.
