In the ancient spa town of Bagni di Lucca, between Lucca and the Garfagnana, La Torre is situated in a dominant position over the valley formed by the confluence of the rivers Lima and Serchio. The building, dating back to 1500, has for years been the home of the wealthy "Clarke Sisters" from Minnesota (USA), then a center of studies of the University of Bologna.
Abandoned in the 90s, the building was bought by the family Tintori that after years of work has restored it to its former glory thanks to a careful job of restoring agricultural and environmental restoration of the buildings. Surrounded by olive trees and chestnut trees, Paul and Laura are glad to welcome you in the six apartments (from 42 to 74 square meters), or in the five rooms, elegantly furnished in Tuscan rural style, created in the farmhouses once used by the farmer.
