The Farm Fontanasalsa is located at the extreme western tip of Sicily, in the province of Trapani, in the middle of a vast plain with olive groves stretching between the slopes of Mount Erice and the Stagnone lagoon, where is located the island Mozia.

A place rich in history: Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Swabians, French and Spanish have taken place in the management of the land, but all you have cultivated the olive tree, as shown by the presence in the company of plants that date back hundreds of years ago.

The Baglio, located in the center of the company, was founded in 700 as a fortified place which protect the harvest of the plain and the nearby mill.

For generations the family has had a Burgarella you olivicultura specialized.

Through extraction systems adeguatisi gradually over time, there has always been an excellent oil from fruity and fragrant herbs and orange blossom. The company leads in their olive groves (60 hectares) surrounding the oil mill also has bottling plant.

The entire production is bottled at source and personally supervised by the owner, making a choice that favors quality through the pressing of the olives in the olive press within a few hours of harvesting and bottling at the same premises.

In almost all of the Company is the Cerasuola Paceco, mixed with small areas of Nocellara del Belice, Giarraffa and Biancolilla, from which it draws its excellent fish oil in limited quantities for the peculiarity of producing plants.
