Tuscany is a land of "Places rare" and "unique locations". The internal rolling plateau of Val d'Orcia and Maremma great and fertile plain, fail to unite, not continuity between them, the conjunction between the slopes of Mount Amiata, the highest mountain in southern Tuscany and the slopes of the relief di Montalcino.
The river Orcia, in seeking an outlet to the sea, towards the Maremma Toscana, in point of contact between the two surveys has dug deep gorges of the Orcia, which also receives the support of the Asso, a charming little stream that originates the Crete Senesi.
On this site today stands the farm Rossello, in the municipality of Castiglione, in the-Art Natural Park of Val d'Orcia, recently declared by UNESCO "good of mankind" for diversity and natural landscapes.
