Welcome to the organic farm Vordergugg

The organic farm Vordergugg is located at the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Our farm, which produces organic hay milk, is in a quiet location and is only a 20-minute walk away from the town of Mittersill. Visit us and enjoy the beautiful view over the Salzach Valley to the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern mountain ranges.

Our farmhouse offers you three modern holiday apartments, three modernized double rooms and one family room with breakfast. The other amenities of our house include a double e-charging station at the guest car park, a Finnish steam infrared sauna, ski boot dryer, a children's playground with trampoline and table tennis and a cozy après-ski hut with wood-burning stove and grill.

Austrian hiking seal of quality

The Vordergugg has been awarded with the Austrian hiking seal of quality and is the ideal starting point for your hikes. Between the beginning of May and the end of October, our guests can take part in guided hikes in the Hohe Tauern National Park free of charge. Hiking accessories such as hiking maps and hiking sticks are also available here free of charge.

Hiking in the Hohe Tauern National Park

The Hohe Tauern National Park offers guests a varied range of hiking opportunities and excursion destinations such as the Grossglockner High Alpine Road or the Krimml Waterfalls. We’re looking forward to inform and advise you personally.

Skiing fun and more in the Hohe Tauern National Park

 The Mittersill - Pass Thurn - Kitzbühel ski area has the most modern lift systems and can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. The nearest cross-country ski runs, toboggan runs, winter hiking trails and ski tour destinations are only a few minutes away.

Cancellation conditions

Our guests have the option of canceling the booked accommodation at any time free of charge. Please inform us as early as possible in case of a no-show or a change in travel. Many Thanks.

Terms of payment

You can pay for your stay in cash or with an EC or credit card. A bank transfer is also possible. A deposit is not necessary.
