Set in the very heart of Dartmoor National Park with its breath-taking scenery Prince Hall Hotel, built in 1787, is an intimate country house hotel which retains the atmosphere of a most welcoming home.

The nine spacious and light-filled en suite bedrooms are individually and stylishly furnished. While our Moorland View rooms enjoy magnificent moorland and river views, the views from our Courtyard View rooms provide the moorland visitor with other local, attractive characteristics. Extra features throughout the hotel include exposed beams and stone walls, original fireplaces and sash windows, and a four-poster bed.

All rooms have direct dial telephone, modem access point, remote-control colour television, a well-stocked refreshment tray and hairdryer. Fresh milk and our own spring water are freely available.

Beds are made up with duvets and pure cotton bedlinen. Sheets and blankets can be provided if requested in advance.
