The Day House is a dairy/arable working farm on approximately 440 acres situated just outside the town boundaries of Shrewsbury. The entrance drive is over half a mile long, so you have total seclusion yet easy access to road networks taking you to Ironbridge, Ludlow, Chester and the Welsh coast.

The house was built in the 18th century and then extended in the 19th century to make into a delightful residence set in extensive gardens with beautiful views of the Shropshire countryside. The bedrooms are spacious with either bathrooms or shower-room en-suite facilities. A tray is provided for you to make your own cup of tea or coffee and there is a fridge upstairs, which is stocked with fresh milk and mineral water for the guest use. The drawing room provides a comfortable haven for reading or planning the next stage of your holiday, tastefully furnished with antiques and family mementoes. There are colour TV's in each bedroom and a pay phone downstairs.

You are welcome to wonder round the gardens and farmland respecting the countryside code by making sure gates are shut and animals are not frightened. There are many wild animals and birds to observe and can give many hours of pleasure just sitting watching the acrobatics of the squirrels or a marvellous air display of the birds fighting off an attack from a sparrow hawk or buzzard.
