Middle of the 16th century Michael Rem acquired the house no. 263 of Stift Heiligenkreuz. He owned several vineyards and wine-growing operation. In 1683, during the Great Turkish siege of Vienna, Turks came to Perchtoldsdorf. There was a brief but fierce battle in which many lost Perchtoldsdorfer citizens, among them Michael Rem and woman's life. This event documented today a mural in the courtyard of Pension Felner. The house was completely destroyed in this battle. Since there were no heirs, the ruin fell to the Perchtoldsdorf. In 1696 the church sold the property to Eva Friess, who built the house at ground level again. After some change in ownership of the land was divided in 1707. There are no further records until 1896. This year, the house of the family Zitta was renovated from the ground up and built a second floor. From this time the house was repeatedly inherited. 1972 acquired Mr. Tibor Felner the neglected building was renovated and opened in 1988, a bed and breakfast.
