The Bed & Breakfast "The Vineyard", family, lies the ancient village of Volastra (from the Latin Vicus Oleaster, ie site of the olive trees), one of the most authentic realities in the heart of the National Park of Cinque Terre, where terraces for the cultivation of vines and olive trees, supported by stone walls make this place one of the most evocative of the area.

Volastra, thanks to its dominating geographical position, since medieval times had been elected to the sanctuary of Manarola which is only 2 km., Now you can also visit the church of Our Lady of Health, built from sandstone blocks of incredible size and characterized by a lancet window in white Carrara marble.

Volastra well as offering a unique natural landscape overlooking the sea, is the most important crossroads of the paths of the 5 Terre. From here it has the ability to undertake the work of various difficulty all suitably marked by the CAI, surrounded by nature nothing short of enchanting.

Volastra, unlike the other villages of the Cinque Terre, offers free parking areas in the immediate vicinity of the town. Given the peculiar morphology of these places, the use of the car is not recommended.

Using a shuttle bus service, included in the ticket price to visit the National Park, in a few minutes you can reach Manarola (see timetable) and from there, taking advantage of the railway and sea, you can easily reach the other four fishing villages.
